Kalutara-Aluthgama Railway line to be upgraded |

St. Clair back to normal |
Dec 17 (DM) The St. Clair waterfalls that ran dry when the filling of water in the Upper Kotmale Hydropower Reservoir started on Thursday (15), was back to normal yesterday. The filling would be done in three stages and that stage I was completed by last morning. Stage 3 would be completed soon and the power station at Niyangandora could be commissioned by early next month. The St. Clair falls that feeds the reservoir dwindled when diverted to fill the reservoir, but it was back to normal yesterday.
