Vet. student batch suspended for ragging, keeping COVID students captive in campus

Oct 15 (CT) Fort Police Chief Inspector Sagara Liyanage says statements had been recorded from around 20 people to ascertain as to what purpose a bag of ammunitions had been kept at a toilet in the Bristol Building. Sri Lanka climbs up to 65th place in the world hunger index
Oct 15 (TM) Global Hunger Index (GHI) has ranked SL in the 65th place for countries that are in hunger. Statistics from the year 2000 are shown on the website, and SL has so far been on an upward trend since then. Whilst reporting that in the year 2000, 21.9% of the population was in hunger, which as per the GHI is a serious figure, SL has climbed to a staggering -26.9%, which is now considered as a low hunger rate.
