Oct 21 (CT) Research, conducted by a group of Ruhuna University undergraduates, has shown that traditional agriculture methods give better productivity than that where chemicals or artificial fertilizers are used. Ravi Dickmadugoda, an undergraduate involved in the research, said they were involved in related research work for a period of three months. It was also found that rice produced by using traditional agriculture methods was more nutritious.
