Nov 23 (CG) Four elephants were killed after being electrocuted in Hambantota this morning, the police said. The elephants had got entangled onto wires placed around a house in a village in the area. Among the animals found dead was a baby elephant, the police said. The police said that the house had been constructed illegally in the village area and the electric wires had been placed to keep elephants away.
