Nov 14 (LBO) Sri Lanka's investment promotion agency said it had signed a deal with Plumbago Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, which will invest 78 million US dollars over four years to process and export graphite, the second such firm in as many months. Prison officials probed |
Nov 14 (CT) Prison authorities have appointed a special team to conduct an internal probe to determine whether prison officials had a hidden hand in assisting the Welikada Prison inmates in opening the prison armoury last Friday, which led to a riot and shootout.
