Democracy-Deficit and All that |
Oct 12 (DM) No discourse on the course of democracy in contemporary Sri Lanka is complete without a reference to democracy-deficit. The discourse itself is healthy and inevitable but it seems to mean different things to different people, leaving the nation confused and contradicting the self, every now and again.
