CMC Chairman refutes claims |
Sep 29 (SAMN) Chairman of the Commission probing the charges against the Colombo Municipal Council Friday refuted the claims that he has been partial in conducting the commission proceedings. Chairman Chandradasa Nanayakara pointed out that lawyers can make a complaint to courts and remove him from the chairmanship if they wished. Nanayakara said some have alleged that he had been partial in handling the Commission and said it is the first time that such an allegation was made against him.
