1. 2 lbs ripe tomatoes
2. 1 lb sugar
3. chillies to taste
4. 1 oz mustard seed
5. 1/2 oz garlic
6. 1/2 oz ginger
7. 1/2 bottle vinegar
8. salt
9. 2 oz sultanas Method
Grind the chillies, mustard,garlic and
ginger with the vinegar.Remove the skins
from the tomatoes by dipping them into
boiling water.Cut the tomatoes into squares,
and put it in a sucepan.Now add the vinegar
and boil until the fruit is soft.Add the
sugar, the ground ingredients and salt, and
boil the whole gently till it is of a good
consistancy.
