Reflections on the Israel-Hamas war
Oct 14 (GV) Israels Western allies, the US in particular, believe that any investigation into Israeli war crimes in the Gaza Strip will exacerbate tensions and undercut efforts to advance a negotiated two-state solution. I am quoting US Secretary of State Antony Blinkens response to a request made by the Palestinian Authority to the International Criminal Court in 2021. However, such statements ignore the fact that Israels colonisation of Gaza is what stands in the way

Sadly, the answers to all these queries are not at all pleasant. They are the complete heartbreak of our nation at present. We celebrated Int'l Childrens Day on the first day of Oct2023

Corruption exposed; so what?
Oct 14 (ST) IMF, in its governance report on SL, has unveiled a comprehensive account of the countrys massive white-collar corruption levels, perhaps for the first time.
