Labour laws to be unified within new changes

Apr 23 (ST) SL�s labour laws are about to change and authorities are to open up the space for public debate in June this year. Labour Ministry Secretary Ananda Wimalaweera said that the labour laws in the country today are outdated. Apr 23 (ST) Sri Lanka�s urbanisation has increased to 45% from 18.5% in 2012 in the past 10 years with rapid population growth and a hike in migration of people from rural areas.
