Jul 23 (DM) The govt was considering resuming the Demerit Points System for driving licenses, Minister Mahinda Amaraweera said yesterday. The demerit system was considered as a strategy to prevent accidents caused by negligent drivers. The system gives drivers a score of 0 to 24 in road accidents caused by negligence.
