National inflation rises to 3.4% in August

Sep 24 (EN) SL�s nationwide inflation hit a three-month high of 3.4% in Aug 2019. National Consumer Price Index compiled by Census and Statistics Dept had risen 2.2% in July 2019, and 2.1% in June, the lowest in five months, down from 3.5% in May.
