National inflation slows to 3.5% in May |
Jun 22 (EN) SL's nationwide inflation slowed down to 3.5% in the 12-months to May 2019, for the first time in six months, from 3.6% in April, central bank said. The fall in the National Consumer Price Index compiled by the Census and Statistics Dept in May 2019 was owing to the high base in the same month of the previous year.
