January tea output falls 15.3% y/y
Feb 20 (Reuters) Sri Lanka's tea output fell 15.3% in January due to adverse weather, poor application of fertilisers and a govt ban on pesticides. "Mainly it is the weather; in addition to that, other factors like (poor application of) fertiliser and (govt ban on) weedicide also impacted," said Sri Lanka Tea Board Director-General S.A. Payagala boat capsize victims identified
Feb 20 (NR) The bodies of seven persons who drowned last morning when a boat capsized in Payagala have been identified by relatives. The relatives have requested for the remains to be handed over. IFC invests Rs510mn in Sanasa Bank
