Rs 2.3 million worth of loot recovered

May 18 (Island) Minuwangoda Police nabbed a 5-member robber gang and recovered jewellery and goods worth around Rs 2.3 million last week. Rupee forwards tad weaker; stocks slip

May 18 (Reuters) Sri Lankan rupee forwards were slightly weaker on Monday due to importer dollar demand, while the country's central bank prevented a sharp fall via moral suasion, dealers said.
