Detective journalist busts doctorate racket |
Mar 18 (ST) An undercover journalist from the Sunday Times busted a multi-million rupee scam involving the sale of doctorates by a group of Buddhist monks and a layman at a Temple in Kandy earlier this week. Iraq offers oil to Sri Lanka to avert Iran ban |
Mar 18 (AFP) Iraq has come forward to offer "substantial quantities" of crude oil to Sri Lanka, as the island desperately looks for alternatives to Iranian crude.
