Police block demo in Jaffna
June 19 (CG) The police obstructed a protest march in Jaffna today which was staged against the alleged forced occupation of civilian land by the military. Over 200 people took part in the protest march including TNA MP Mavai Senathirajah. June 19 (DM) Prices of nineteen varieties of infant milk food will be decreased from midnight today as the government has decided to impose a price control for infant milk food; Minister of Internal Trade Johnston Fernando said a short while ago. Modernised State of the Art Palmyrah Research Institute to be opened in Jaffna
