Navy help sought in Ratnapura

May 20 (MoD) Ratnapura District Secretary H.W. Gunadasa has sought Navy assistance for rescue and relief operations with water levels of Kalu Ganga, Weganga and Hangamu Oya rising fast. The decision for Navy assistance was made at an emergency official meeting at the Kachcheri yesterday. The water level on Kalu Ganga had reached 17 feet eight inches. Extreme weather closes 20 schools in western province
