Over 500 families resettled in Jaffna HSZ |
Jan 7 (MoD) Signifying accelerated progress in the resettlement drive another 509 families were resettled in the High Security Zone (HSZ) of the Jaffna Peninsula in the presence of Basil Rajapaksa MP. The 509 families consisting of 1,862 members were displaced from their villages and were living in various areas of the Jaffna Peninsula. One thousand bicycles were distributed among them and another 491 bicycles among schoolchildren.
