Many victims of Matale food poisoning now discharged |
Feb 14 (LP) Many of the students who were hospitalized due to poisoning of food in the Matale district have left the hospitals. According to Police Spokesman SP Prishantha Jayakodi, a total of 114 students from three schools in Matale were admitted to the hospital after consuming the noon meal provided to them by the school on the 10th of February. Feb 14 (MoD) People are being resettled in several areas of the North and 2216 people who were displaced due to LTTE's unlawful reign of terror will be resettled in Karachchi area in Kilinochchi, Minister of Resettlement and Disaster Relief Services, Rishad Bathiudeen said.
