STF busts major fuel racket |
Aug 21 (DM) A major oil racket involving some 25 bowsers and several hidden storage points were busted by the Special Task Force (STF) yesterday. They said the STF also seized 15,000 litres of diesel, 137,000 litres of waste oil and 25 bowsers used to transport the fuel to various locations. The suspects are alleged to have operated this major racket by distributing diesel mixed with waste oil disposed by ships and with the addition of chemicals.
