Doc. Suspended for attempted sexual abuse of pregnant patient |
Sep 24 (Island) Director General of Health Services Dr. Ajith Mendis has suspended a doctor attached to the Sri Jayawardenepura Teaching Hospital, following an investigation into an allegation that he attempted to sexually abuse a pregnant woman. Health sources said that this would be brought to the notice of the Sri Lanka Medical Council for further action.
