Oct 1 (LBO) Sri Lanka's plantations industry has said new wage models are being considered in talks with labour unions after managing to link worker productivity to wages in recent negotiations. As per GSP Plus, exports from Sri Lanka do not attract any import duties in its exports to the countries of the European Union. Minister Susil Premajayanth said all measures were in place to conduct special classes for the students in the welfare villages in the north who are sitting for the G.C.E.
