Anti-corruption plans gather dust |
Feb 2 (SAMN) While two costly anti-corruption plans are gathering dust, the government and the United Nations Development Porgramme (UNDP) is set to launch another project to tackle waste, corruption and irregularities in the public sector. A three-year project called Support Efforts and Action against Corruption in Sri Lanka (SEAC) is expected to cost USD 858,500, with the UNDP�s contribution being USD 300,000. The UNDP intends to raise USD 558,000 from other donors.
