Mar 26 (JP) Sri Lankan Ambassador to Indonesia Maj. Gen. (ret) K. Janaka C. Perera will soon leave Indonesia after serving just 18 months here. "Ambassador Perera is leaving for Colombo some time next week (this week)," the Sri Lankan Embassy's counselor, A. Dharmakulasingham, told The Jakarta Post on Sunday. Perera, a non-career diplomat, submitted his credentials to President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono on Sept. 8, 2005.
